Hi all,

The newly migrated website is running pretty ok now. It is looking good. Bits and pieces here and there still need some ironing out, but generally quite well.

Great thanks to everybody’s time and tireless efforts: Vanda and Tony in Gatwick, Kitty, Terry, Rob, Binh and Tammy on the other side of Atlantic. It is not an easy task, and I believe this project will contribute greatly to migration of SLB.com.

Subject: New Server for county web site
Team -

I want to express my sincere appreciation to you for the successful implementation of the new Internetprod server for the County website. Each of you contributed to the success of this project, and through your teamwork and individual expertise, we were able to put the server in production prior to the early voting start date of 2/19/08. Perfect timing since we know our website will be hit hard in the next few weeks as people search for their precinct, polling locations, sample ballots, etc. Besides, with the way the previous server was acting, we could not afford any more daily downtime during this critical time of year.

Also, thanks for giving up many hours of your weekend to be up here during the cutover and the resulting testing and troubleshooting.

I know we still have a lot to learn about the QP product, but when all is said and done, you joined together to get the job done, and that's a wonderful accomplishment.

Mr. Watson,

The INFORMIX 15 minutes connection timeout in CommTrak, SOS, and CISS was completed as of yesterday. We are monitoring the number of connections today, and the number of connections varied between 130 and 170. As of today, we are running at 175. I think we should be able to run comfortably at 175. I am however still questing for 150.

I would like to recognize Binh Pham for his genuine R&D works!
